"Including the Excluded in Society"
Here at S&D we strongly operate under the conviction that the basic responsibility of every individual is to be a blessing to others (especially, widows and orphans). In short, God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others. We motivate one another in our day-to-day responsibilities. Seriously speaking, we're both strong and humble, as depicted by our inspirational birds--Eagle and Dove.
"Winners never Quit; Quitters never Win."
"My hero is any individual who helps all their children, at least one widow, and someone else's children in life."
"Winners make a habit of manufacturing their own positive expectations in advance of the event."
"No one can ruin your day without your permission."
"Accept your PAST without regrets, handle your PRESENT with confidence, and face your FUTURE without fear."
"Similarly, you're definitely an example, but whether you're a good example or not is up to you."
"You don't need money to be rich or to help other people. Just open up your doors, heart, and mind; invest in people, friendships, and relationships, and watch how much you gain back."
"If your success was earned through HARD WORK and HONESTY, never apologize for it."
"A bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you refuse to make the turn."
"To ensure success in life, learn to be persistently HARDWORKING, lovingly KIND, transparently HONEST, and always be ready to INVEST before spending!"
"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."
"Some people are so poor, all they have is money."
"FAILURE is Success in PROGRESS, and you're never a LOSER until you quit trying."
"Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its grounds."
"Defeat is not bitter unless you swallow it."
"No matter what happens to you--win, lose, or draw--never forget that life goes on."
"An obstacle is often a stepping stone."
"Everything you want to see happen under the sun requires a sacrifice of some sort. If you don't sacrifice for what you want, what you want automatically becomes the sacrifice."
"GENEROSITY is giving more than you can, and PRIDE is taking less than you need."
"Sometimes people try to expose what's wrong with you, because they can't handle what's right about you."
It's all in the mind--"If you believe it will work out, you'll see opportunities. if you believe it won't, you'll see obstacles."
"Never look down on any person, unless you're helping them up to the height you're at."
"People are going to talk, whether you're doing bad or good. Worry about yourself, therefore, before you worry about what others think."
"If you want to keep getting what you're getting, keep doing what you're doing--if you change nothing, nothing will change."
"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
"If quitting is an option, then LOSERS quit when they are tired, whereas WINNERS quit when they've won."
"You can never be great at anything unless you love it."
"Many people are so poor that all they have in life is money."
"A challenge becomes an obstacle only when you bow to it."
"The person you're taking for granted today may turn out to be the one you'll need tomorrow, so be careful how you treat people."
"The difference between STUMBLING BLOCKS and STEPPING STONES is how you use them. Remember Stumbling Blocks can ALWAYS be turned into Stepping Stones."
"Don't allow a setback to give you an excuse to sit back. Pick yourself up and continue to move forward!"
[K. L. Register]
"The best lesson you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm; and make sure you don't depend too much on anybody under the sun, because even your own shadow leaves you when you're in darkness."

REMEMBER THE GOOD LORD BLESSED YOU SO YOU’LL BE A BLESSING TO
OTHER PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP.
Be SILENT when in Anger
Be HONEST when in Trouble,
Be SIMPLE when in Wealth, and
Be POLITE when in Authority
That’s simply called “Life Management”!
LESSONS FOR SUCCESS
You’ll never learn if you don’t make mistakes,
You’ll never be brave if you don’t get hurt,
You’ll never be successful if you don’t fail.
Lest I forget,
successful people keep moving.
Though they stumble and fall, they never quit.
Successful people build each other up.
They motivate, inspire, and push each other.
Unsuccessful people just hate, blame, and complain.
The choice is solely yours!
You can rise up from anything.
You can completely reconstruct yourself.
Remember no condition is permanent.
You're not stuck; you have choices.
You can think new thoughts.
You can learn something new and do things differently.
Also, you can form new habits as you go.
All that matters is that you decide today and never look back,
for everything is in your mind!
To be happy in life, keep your heart free from HATE and your mind free from WORRY. Give MUCH and expect LITTLE from other people. Live simply and fill your life with LOVE. Treat others the way you expect to be treated. Treasure your family and friends. Finally, trust in the LORD with all your HEART and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
10 PRINCIPLES OF INSPIRATIONAL LIVING
Compiled from multiple sources by Elder Prof. Kwaku Saforadu Amankwaa-Pam (Uncle Dave)
You are the beloved child of the Lord God Almighty, created in His full image and put here on earth to obey and glorify your Maker in all that you do. Obedience is the key to the Lord’s blessings, miracles, and all forms of breakthrough in your life.
*Principle #1: Prayer & Trust in the Lord
Pray always (see 1 Thessalonians 5:17), and trust in the Lord with all your heart (see Proverbs 3:5-6).
*Principle #2: Respect
Treat all persons with respect, and never allow your challenges to negatively affect the relationships you build. Love all persons, but your trust must be in the Lord only.
*Principle #3: Overdependence
Do not depend too much on anyone under the sun, for even your own shadow leaves you when you are in the dark.
*Principle #4: Friendship
No matter how high you rise in life, never forget that you need someone, at least, to freely relate to and confide in. Be nice to people on your way up, because you will surely meet them on your way down. However, never search your happiness in someone else. You alone are responsible for your own happiness.
*Principle #5: Family
Consider your family—both nuclear and extended—as the best gift you have, and it must be nurtured and preserved in unity.
*Principle #6: Work Ethic
Cultivate an extremely healthy work ethic, working wonderfully hard, avoiding excuses, and not disappointing those who depend on you.
*Principle #7: Blessing
Always be a blessing to the needy in society (especially, orphans and widows), remembering that the Lord God Almighty blesses you, so you can be a blessing to others. Your greatest test is when you are able to bless someone else, while you are going through your own storm.
*Principle #8: Truth & Honesty
Never lie to any person. Always be truthful and honest, no matter the consequences. Remember that your steps are ordered by the Lord, and there is a purpose for everything that happens to you.
*Principle #9: Responsibility & Comparison
Learn to take responsibility for your actions and say, “I’m sorry,” if you must. Never compare your life to someone else’s life, for everyone is fearfully and wonderfully made (see Psalm 139:14), unique, and has been put on their own journey.
*Principle #10: Patience & Waiting
Every situation or condition is temporary, so wait patiently for things to happen, and do not rush anything in your life. Remember what seem to you as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise, for the Lord has made everything beautiful in its time (see Ecclesiastes 3:11).
Move on with all your strength, and may the Lord bless you!
Never tell a lie!
Never cheat any person!
Never hate any person or animal!
Never lose your inner peace or self-confidence!
Finally, never build an absolute trust in any person!
Trust in the Lord only with all your heart!” (Proverbs 3:5)
